This week features Alex Beyer. First we hear him collaborate with George Li, a fellow student at NEC, in Mozart’s light-hearted four hand Sonata in D major. Up next are three Etudes Tableau from Op. 33, taken from a 2017 recital. The virtual recitals featured, and closing, work is is the Sonata in F-sharp minor by Robert Schumann. So beautifully nuanced, heartfelt, and clean. Doesn’t the fellow ever hit a wrong note or blur a harmony?
