This week, young Alexander Beyer, assisted by the Pacifica String Quartet, brings us music by Bach, Rachmaninoff, and Brahms including Bach's Prelude from the 6th English Suite. and two of Rachmaninoff's Etude Tableaux, “Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf.” and Etude Tableaux, Op. 39, No. 4. The featured work this week is the Piano Quintet in F minor by Johannes Brahms. Alex performs it with the Pacifica String Quartet at Christ's Cathedral in Indianapolis.
