lord, deliver us

Dear Lord and Father of Mankind, may we reject the iniquities of doubt and place our total faith in the deliverance that only you can provide. Wash over us and release us from that which troubles and torments us. Bring us to peace as we await the day of reckoning — and that even in the times of trial and tribulation, we may come to see that the day of deliverance is near. Even in the darkness, the light of providence and grace still shines.

Lord, deliver us.

• Lord, deliver us from melancholy.

• Lord, deliver us from our pretensions.

• Lord, deliver us from those who persecute us.

• Lord, deliver us from the snares of evil.

• Lord, deliver us from fear.

• Lord, deliver us from pride.

• Lord, deliver us from despair.

• Lord, deliver us from falsehood.

• Lord, deliver us from selfishness.

• Lord, deliver us from wrath.

• Lord, deliver us from cruelty.

• Lord, deliver us from greed.

• Lord, deliver us from indifference.

• Lord, deliver us from hardness of heart.

• Lord, deliver us from the love of power.

• Lord, deliver us from vain ambition.

• Lord, deliver us from divisions among us.

• Lord, deliver us from our unfaithfulness.

• Lord, deliver us from injustice.

• Lord, deliver us from our unkind words.

• Lord, deliver us from doubt that cripples faith.

• Lord, deliver us from all that draws us from You.

Till we meet in the paradise to come.

Lord, deliver us.
