This week the Borromeo String Quartet continues its traversal of the Beethoven string quartet cycle. Our virtual concert is titled: The Beethoven Experience IX — a Nod to Mozart and a Wild New Path. First you hear Beethoven’s String Quartet in A major, Op. 18, No. 5 (the Nod to Mozart). This is then followed by the composer’s intense and highly compact middle period “Serioso" quartet in F minor, Op. 95 (the Wild New Path).
